Yeah, I guess they can be conciliated pretty well. I'm kinda surprised by your implication that I'm improving on that aspect!
Thanks, man. What I said about you is true. I know all about being surprised by compliments. Hell, I know all about brushing off compliments and am only now beginning to accept them.

We all have our moments or periods of absolute downtrodden-ness. Mine lasted throughout high school (Paxil made me a zombie), through college (depression), and for quite a bit after college (residual psychological side effect of all of that stuff).

For the sake of more absolute brutal self-disclosure, here's the not very confident OP of my "what's my freakin' type thread. I mostly got better, though.

After seeing/hearing you read "bedtime stories" I never would have guessed you experienced any of that! Congrats on pulling yourself out of the rut.

I just set this up (bizarrely, my very unique TypeC handle was already taken - I think my alter ego did this many moons ago in an attempt to make me acknowledge her existence??? but long story short, yes I started a new one). This thread seems like the perfect place to formally introduce it:

Johari (I totally meant to pick "witty" as an option but well )

    Nohari

    So hit me! Or not.

I prefer earnest inquiries into the cuteness of my various dog avatars.

What do you personally think I am like offline? Similar? Different?

Different. More hermit like, not neccesarily a bad thing.

    Should I write more poetry?

...That's actually pretty accurate. Is it because I'm online so often?

And you could try, though I'm not well-versed enough with Dutch poetry to judge its quality...

Am I still relevant or has my golden age come and gone? Did I ever even have a golden age?

No it's because I've been watching you.

    Ha Ha Ha.

In seriousness though, it's not a far stretch to think all introverts are more reclusive irl then they are on the forum. So saying it without giving it any substance as to how much different, but in the way that I did, was bound to get recognized as accurate by most people. It was a calculated guess. Like those mentalists do.
