    Im not concerned. I was sort of expecting some people from vent(or here) going like "why is he even asking.."

    This thread has attracted a lot of lurkers or people I've not seen posting before or in a long time.

    Maybe its just that im not going to argue unless im sure and see what someone else is missing, and i kinda have an urge to correct others if i notice them spreading out false info? So it just makes it seem as if i think im always right about everything..

    Just because someone appears to be an "I'm always right" variety of person or because you dont like their points doesnt mean they arent right all the same.

    First the question "Am I weird?" is ambiguous. Some people when asking mean "Are my interesting and unique qualities and combinations readily apparent to others, that some (who I find interesting) are willing to continue to pursue a connection with me?" Others are instead asking "Am I creepy? When I walk into a room do some people run away screaming in horror?"

    The answer to the latter question is yes, you are creepy. But so am I, and so is everyone. The question you should be asking of yourself is "Am I repulsive to people I want to pursue an association with in my life? If so, how am I repulsive? Should I change some of my 'creepy' behavior or is it worth the effort? Why do I want a connection with these specific people?" Questions using others would be better used by asking what behaviors can seem creepy and how to fix that particular problem.

    The question also speaks of insecurity not only due to seeking self assurance of the non-creepiness, but because instead of asking the direct question one has chosen to ask using a more ambiguous and neutral word choice to soften the blow to the ego, if someone does say yes.

    To the majority of the users posted in this thread , can you please use less tact? My guess is that people know the social expectations outside this thread and then choose whether to follow them or not when posting elsewhere in the forum. Whereas this thread asks for less tact changing these rules leaving people unsure and therefore they tend to follow the social expectations from outside this thread making this thread have more tact than others in the forum. This irony annoys me. I am not asking people to be assholes, but I would like to see if we are mature enough to have a direct truth thread as some users have advocated for without this thread ending up in the graveyard.
    The irony of the ironies is that you seem very nice. Toughen up!

    I am creepy and weird.

    And I posted on INTPc for a few years...before deciding I was really INFP.

    @Beargryllz

    Yes, for some reason, you remind me of the "V" saga that came on television. I think you are one of them; you sort of have that snake in body-suit look.

    Not in the least! Have you been told that IRL?

    You might come across as a little bit off in the clouds, but that's totally different and not all bad...
