I goofed and forgot to order some toner at work... And now I have faculty teaching a class that are ticked off that they can't print... My bad...
It's weird reading about the other side of this. I usually just see the end product and it's funny imagining professors going through bs like this too..because it doesn't seem like they do.
I guess I can learn something from them after all...haha
There I was, gliding along at freeway speed, when (okay, okay...I was going twenty-five over) I was about to miss my exit. Seizing my one and only chance, I cut off this van in the next lane over, and this lady was P-I-S-S-E-D. Like, tailgate-me-for-the-next-two-minutes pissed.
Upon stopping at the red light, she pulled up beside me, shot me a nasty look, and said (well, she actually mouthed it), "Learn how to fu*king drive!"
Lately I have been very aware of how much "taking" I have been doing lately, with not enough "giving." I prefer to be in the "giving" side. It's just that I have so much going on in my life that I haven't had many resources for other people.
Wasn't International Failure day a few days ago? I feel like it was Thursday of last week, because someone mentioned it to me, someone who clearly does not notice the sight of me sliding effortlessly through life, out there in the distance, fulfilling my dreams, always and forever.
