I enjoy the idea of @Nicodemus being a mod, however I worry that modhood would force him to change his posting style and be less of his honest, dry and wonderfully abrasive self. It would also mean I couldn't see him tear idiots a new one or call people douches when they deserve it.
Which would be sad.
If the essence of Nico could remain, rather than a potentially homogenised version of him, due to mod restrictions, I'd be totally sending my non influential vote his way.
That's actually a real concern, tbh.
I know I post more on other sites where I am not a mod, because I'm freer to just post however I would like, without worries about setting a bad precedent (I've always got to be careful what I say), confuse members who are trying to use me as a template, and/or stymie those who would go back through my posts to use as argument fodder if they disagree with a mod decision. It gets tiring at times.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft
