    Default Where to live?

Every year or so my Husband and I discuss places to consider moving to and every year we agree to stay in North Carolina for several reasons. One, it's a nice place to raise a family. Two the house prices are decent. Three the weather's pretty decent. Four I like my surroundings and have a good support network of other stay at home Mom's. And five I finally after 5 years of living here found a hair stylist that I am happy with (I know, priorities right? ;P).

Places we have discussed that have some possibility.

    Arizona (Phoenix)
    Colorado Springs, CO

And that's all we've come up with. Texas has made the list in the past, but we've since changed our minds.

Weather is important. I'm from Florida and don't much like the cold weather. We would prefer a nice temperate climate.

    Any suggestions?

Well, I have to throw in my two cents and say Colorado Springs is gorgeous, and I'd love to live there. I was SO happy, the two times I've been out there and able to see real mountains... and even the heat is dry, not oppressive, like PA summers.

I'd have to agree. North Carolina is quite nice, but I'd go to Colorado Springs before any of those other places. And I am getting sick of Philadelphia summers, too.

    Ohio!

    ....Wanna trade houses?

Both of those places you mentioned sound nice, but I've never been to either. I think you should consider the Pacific NW too.

The mountains of NC are great! You may not feel as strongly though given my wilderness bias.

There's a nice, cold, moist, icy (and deadly slippery) climate here in Finland

I don't want it, I just need it, to breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.
