I can't get my coffee from the machine because the room is being used to educate those who still haven't figured out the HSA is the better health plan.

    /sigh

    Get something that isn't racing.

    Or sports.
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

Well, I agree with you about sports games, but what's wrong with racing games?

I had this happen last week. Needed my lunch, from the staff fridge. To be fair to me, no staff email was sent out that the staff room was being used that day, to run a group program - yoga for seniors.

    Anyway.

I was damn hungry. So I tried to be as quiet as a mouse, while I snuck in, only for the lead to make crazy windmill shooing motion with her arms, and loud-whispering to me, "GO AWAY, YOU CAN'T BE HERE RIGHT NOW." I pretended that I didn't see her and her emoting, and before I turned to leave, I turned, and bowed with my hands clasped, "Namaste"

An email was sent out to All Staff the next day, flagged as ! High Importance, about respecting programs that are being run, and refraining from interrupting them. Respect was bolded and italicized.

    Good times.

I accidentally added only half the required cocoa to the no-bakes. They aren't very chocolatey.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
