It is the hatred and fear of the inner life that leads to boredom.

And look how ridiculous the bored are.

Children get bored, and extroverts get bored and are constantly chasing distraction.

Whereas those who love the inner life discover a bubbling fountain of delight, that's always there and always fresh.

    Smile Boredom and Risk

I think we become bored when we don't take risks. And on Central it is emotional risks.

Why play it safe emotionally if it only leads to boredom?

And playing it safe bores not only yourself but everyone else.

So see yourself as an emotional swashbuckler, going where you haven't gone before.

Ah, and so thus the extroverts are banned from the Kingdom of Heaven as a warning to us all. Drink ye from the waters of salvation.

On another note, I don't get bored, and that oven is awesome.

Nice oven !! if you form a hole into it and attach a vacuum cleaner you can heat up plastic plates over a wooden form and make plastic sculptures, i dunno the english word for 'tiefziehen' xD.

I am working on my cnc lathe, bought a manual china drilling machine now to drill me some steel parts. will post more once I have finished concstruction

It's interesting to me to make a thread that attracts your attention, Victor ... however ...

I think we become bored when we don't take risks.
this resonates more with me. For different people, the risks will vary. But when we aren't pushing ourself a little at the edges, our boundary spaces, perhaps boredom here on the forum represents the void that the risks taken here are only a fill-in for those IRL. Will think on this some more ... thanks for your thoughts.

Ya, it is an awesome oven, isn't it? The folks have now finished curing it and are starting to bake in it.

Once we are out of this apartment and back in a house I so totally want to make one too.

Heat or vacuum sealing, I think is what you are referring to - do you have pics of your lathe so far? Send me to the link! I want to see the pictures please!

Qlip, you win the prize! Now I am finding some good stuff in search:

    Vacuum Forming

I don't think the Adobe oven could handle the vacuum seal part lol - the heat though, no problem!
