*Can result in fanaticism but this quite obviously harmless. What are we going to do? Start an anti sci-fi movement and go to the library and burn every sci fi book there is? lol

There was a time when hating Jews was considered harmless as well.

@Nicodemus : lol i can't say I do know what she is entirely capable of.

@entropie : o come on. Hating someone for something they can't control like their ethnicity is not the same as "hating" an art genre because you think it blows.

First you hate the product, soon you hate the producer, in the end you will have annihilated all parts of production. I know the ilk.

But it's such a wide genre beloved by the majority. I really don't see how we could come close to managing.

To cut it short and stop derailing this thread, I will simply attribute that to a lack of Te.

We basically could work on fueling the western worlds hate towards the islam. then when we reached the peak point of communal hate, we could seed some science fiction videos showing how the islamic world does see the world, maybe something which portraits them in a sacred world of godly beings with them being the center and most important. As the most important symbol we could present the evil islam using literature, lyric and art as an instrument for their worldview. This sort of perverted reality we then could use to vouch for "the western world is compared to the islam world very scientific so get more real people".

That then we use to create a new generation of science students and parents patting their childrens back that they are doing something productive and that they are super-intelligent and more real than art or literature and all those things that are devils work. After that we recruit these think-of-themselves-as-geniuses for the military and start a GIGANTIC operation.

That is a first draft actually most of it is already on the way. I wrote that in a prison cell

Apparently, to some members, Sci-Fi seems to suck. All they need to do is take that next step and start believing that Sci-Fi objectively sucks and yes, thats when we'll have our sci-fi-nerd holocaust. *begins ordering bricks for the nerd ovens*
“Some people will tell you that slow is good – but I’m here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba…”
