Anarchists and Commies...which makes them liberals or...more liberal than conservative? Maybe?

Fairness/Reciprocity: Reflects your concern with ensuring that others are treated fairly and that a good deed is repaid in kind. This is important for cooperating with other people.

    values possessed/ empasized by conservatives

Ingroup/Loyalty: Reflects your concern with acting with the interests of your social group at heart. For example, friends, family, and country.

Authority/Respect: Reflects your concern with trying to respect and maintain the legitimate leadership structure in which you live. We often strive to maintain the traditions of our society.

Purity/Sanctity: This is driven by the need to avoid contamination and is linked to the emotion of disgust. It reflects the need to avoid disgusting experiences; and from a spiritual perspective it is important to prevent contamination of the spirit or soul.

In on of the previous threads I made, someone showed me a video that pointed the difference between conservatives and liberals. it is not a stretch of imagination to see johnny ramone or that ted guy as being conservative.

they share no doubt the 3 values but 1 stands out more then the others.....

I dont think these value sets are incompatible, or mutually exclusive, or even entirely accurate probably.

Also, what about this little guy? Where does he fit into all of this?

And so long as you haven’t experienced this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest on the dark earth

I think values factor in to the choices we make in our day to day lives and the groups we choose to associate with and emblems we choose to sport. you can pull some things or idea roughly about someone and find that common factor. how accurate is a matter of the reader an their awareness.

can you judge a book by its cover? is some cases to good degree...yes you can

I am enjoying this thread and I agree with TG. liberals do have bad hair.

How odd, there was actually a time when radical hippies(.....well their functional equivalent anyways) were the short haired prudes, whilst the stiff-necked conservatives were the long-haired libertines. Ahhhhhh......those were the days!
