I hadn't heard of all this. Learned something about German culture today. We just have our beloved peanut butter, which I found out this year is hated in most of Europe. I bought a 1.13 kg jar of it all for myself.

    Nutella is awesome.

    Some Americans have good taste!

On the other hand, people that like putting yeast paste on their food (Marmite, Vegemite) cannot be trusted in regards to good eating.

    Serious question:

Did Scriabin’s Poem of Ecstasy influence Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe, or was it the other way around?

    I need to know.

According to Wikipedia Ravel started working on his composition one year after Scriabin finished his poem. That's all I can tell you. Sorry. Inferior creatures like Slavs and Frogeaters were not part of the Teutonic curriculum.
