I grab my laptop and leave the front door. If the front door is unreachable, I'll jump a window, I'm only 1 story up, the fall wouldn't be too bad.

And don't worry about me not being able to reach my laptop. I am next to my laptop at all times when I'm at home. *nods*

Once out, I'll notify authorities and alert neighbours and such, see if they might require help.

This thread is full of furries. Animals don't have houses. This is a big mistake.

I have an immediate action drill already established for such a situation that has a plan for each floor of my home and general location. This drill considers fire, CO2 and intruders (fortunatly there really isn't much difference from a saftey POV). I even have which object will smash a window if required. The first priority is saftey - get out fast by the most direct route. No pets so no issue there. IF I laptops are within arms reach I'd take them but I wouldn't go out of my way.

As for the rest - let it burn.

    WUT??!

    How do you know?

Plan: GTFO ASAP, crawling to avoid smoke!

Rationale: Assuming it's too big to be extinguishable by fire extinguisher. The smoke is very toxic, and doing anything other than GTFO is too risky.

I always knew this bonfire would get out of control!

Ok well I would probably run outside naked, since it's the only chance I'll get without being charged for public indecency.

Walk outside, watch the pretty flames, ponder what cool new stuff I'll buy with the insurance money.
