    Default Zen moments

Moments that scream "It's the moment, be blissful."

I thought of this thread when I was eating ramen noodles a second ago. Seems that every time I'm eating ramen noodles, (or sushi) and sitting next to a fan, or an open window, or outside with a breeze, I go into this state of total, blissful, in the moment relaxation. I'm thinking of nothing else but the taste of the food and feeling the air moving.

What are your most frequent meditative/ in the moment moments?

Spending this summer in the country. I ride my bicycle up and down this pastoral setting. I wear a kerchief on my hair and carry a basket on my bike. It feels so good to be in motion. The breeze picks up all these cottongrass puffs and they float in the air as I coast past. I'm present in the moment and impressed with life. A feeling of idyllic charm.

Watching my son learn how to manuever his body to do rediculous things (for gymnastics) and amid his careful concentration, every time, without fail, when he gets to the circut by the window, he turns and waves.

Omg! I am tearing up! Lol!

Life doesn't get much better than that

Shit that literally made me cry. What a pansy, lol.

Also, diving into a swimming pool and coasting far through the water without moving my limbs.

    - Eating sushi and drinking tea by myself, in my room, window open and the sunlight streaming in.
    - Going for a walk and exploring woods/forests I've never been in before.
    - Laying in green grassy open fields and watching the clouds float by in the sky.
    - Fishing.
    - Long bubble baths with low music and a cold drink.
    - Sitting lakeside and watching the waves roll into shore.

Being up on the slopes of Mt Rainier, sun filtering through the trees, no sounds except the wind, the creaking of the trees, and the animals...

Midnight snow falling in a silent city.

With nobody around, you can hear the tinkle of snow hitting the ground. The orange street lights reflect off the snow and make the night quite bright.

Similarly -- A full moon night in the forest after a recent snowfall.

To be free of burden, happens when I find myself waking up in a nice spacy hotel room with roomservice with nothing that needs to be done that day.

Ofcourse there is always this awkward moment of the cleaning crew knocking on the door and I'm like "Should I pretend to not hear their knocks and totally freak them out (who needs cloths on a day like that after all), or call out to them that the room is occupied?".
