If I die a writer: "Damn, now there's never going to be another book by her"

If I die a painless death at old age: "Hey, at least she lived a full life, you can't really complain"

If I die catching a bullet for somebody else: "Let's hope it was worth it"

If I die a mother: "She was always there for us and taught us so much and stayed with us long enough to see her grandchildren"

If I die as a result of a mad science experiment: "Well, if you tell me that curiosity killed the cat, I say only the cat died nobly.” (with apologies to Arnold Edinborough)

If I die in an accident leaving behind an otherwise healthy body: "Harvest time!...She donated all of her organs, so let's get cracking!"
The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. Neither love without knowledge, nor knowledge without love can produce a good life. - Bertrand Russell

I just to know that I made a positive difference in the world and that my impact will be long felt after my death. Otherwise, I'll just feel that my life was wasted.

Pretty much this. To have had a positive impact on other people's lives.

"What are we going to do with all the cash" In the list "full of creativity" looks good. Was my favourite when I was alive too.
