Tis alright. But perhaps it wouldn't yet fall in the category of 'fascination'
My ENTJ grandfather had a file folder in his cabinet entitled "alarming! Different densities of wood."

I am easily fascinated with a lot of things.

    The perennial favorites:
    -astronomy
    -oceanography
    -geology
    -ancient Egyptian history
    -other languages/linguistics

Tis taking copious amounts of mental strain and effort not to say "Goodness" at the beginning of what I'm saying now.

Oho, I'm certain to enjoy my time memorising the different densities of wood depending on their kind. Wooden planks, real men's stuff.

Oh god, my fixations flit from one interest to another. Then they come back and then they go away.

Right now, I'm fixated with rewatching Star Trek Voyageur episodes. Presently on Season 6.

One fixation that has never gone away is watching a seething ants' nest. It's interesting and yet, kind of makes my skin crawl.

Do you lust over Patrick Stewart? Do you want to do the "ant" with him?

While I adore Patrick Stewart, he's not in Voyageur. Most def. I would nest with his voice alone!

I thought you were kidding about the wood stuff. I was trying to call your bluff. I guess I outed myself.
