Default What era should you have been born in?

    What era matches your personality?

I always think I should have been a 60's flower child. All those encounter groups and new games sound so appealing. (I could pass on the drug/sex scene, though).

Dancing around with long flowing hair and loving everyone sounds like fun, too.

Oh, and I love the music. The Beatles and Peter Paul and Mary and all the folk music.

    What era appeals to you?

I think a good fit would be the Victorian Era. Not that I'm a big fan of colonialsim but if I had been kicking around back then I would have gone to India. Imagine having an entire culture and civilization as fascinating as that one to explore.

i wish i was my age in the early 90's so i could have been old enough to appreciate all the awesome music as it was coming out. plus an internet/cell phone-free childhood would have been good.

i wouldn't wanna go too far back in time because i like having civil rights. like it'd be cool to be involved in all the political movements in the 60's (the drugs wold be nice too) but i wouldn't really want to live in that world.

people have told me i look like i'm from ye olde times, someone at my work told me i looked like the mona lisa. not sure how to take that.

Eras and places to live in (under the right circumstances, of course), birth can be calulated accordingly:

    - pre-revolutionary Paris (hanging out in the salons)
    - Victorian London (as jimrckhnd said, with the opportunity to travel the empire)
    - 1920s Berlin or New York

-17th century to be a pirate
-The arabo-islamic world until the 12th-13th century seem nice.
-The gallic war, but in the roman side of preference, possibly better cances of survival

I am pretty happy in this era (but think I would be more comfortable in Europe than USA which seems too fascist for me right now)

Early 1970s in various music, counterculture and urban scenes

Sailing around and "discovering" China with Marco Polo or "discovering" the Americas with Columbus would have been interesting too.

Hanging out in Rome in the reign of the emperor Claudius sounds interesting

In the war zones in WWII sounds fun as long as I wasn't too terrorized.

    So does the Renaissance period.

Wild West gunfighting in 19th century

    Gangland in 1920s and 1940s

Jurassic period checking out the dinosaurs would be interesting too as long as I didn't stave or get eaten

Future seems interesting too as long as its not too "Brave New World"ish
