Default Words You Often Type Incorrectly

Aside from plain ol' typos or dyslexic letter combinations, as I get deep into writing this e-book project, it reminds me how there's a whack of words I almost always type incorrectly without pause. Like a badly ingrained habit.

For example, I almost always type following as the following: floowing

    Why? Who knows!

Are there any words that always come out wrong for you on the keyboard?

Most common "flow over without stopping" spelling is "reccomend" and I don't notice it until later....

Oh, and I just spelled "notice" - "knowtice"

    That was a first!!!!

Received, deceived, conceived, convenience and any other words that invoke the strange and wily ways of the "ie" combination.

Slightly off-topic: the word "from" starts to look funny to me if I look at it too long.

Most words! My typing speed without deducting typos is somewhere between 90 - 100 wpm. Post typo deduction, it's around 60...at best...ha ha...

ei, ei, ei. If it weren't for those letters, my spelling would be a hell of a lot better. Also words with vowel sounds that don't strongly suggest what they're actually spelled with. Short O sounds that are actually spelled with A's, that sort of thing. I think we should all go back to where there was no standardized spellings, either that or switch to phonetic.

Spell check has ruined my brain. Now, you would never know that I was the 5th grade spelling bee champ.

Recommend - yes, I never know whether it's two Cs or two Ms until I type it out.
Similar problem with: tomorrow & necessary
Rhythm never looks right to me. The Y as a "sometimes vowel" looks odd.
I want to drop the second E in jewel also.

I tend to forget how to write the name of the city in which I live halfway through somehow... I can't figure that one out

Wierd/weird. Even looking at it I'm not sure which way is right. Usually I just spell it one way, then the other way next time. At least I know I'm right half the time!
I'm never wrong, I'm just sometimes less right

Oooh, some good ones, rhythm always messes me up too, and recommend.

We used to live in Mississauga and I used to mistype that one a lot ....

Plus, my laptop is a Mac and my primary machine is a PC. I have instant spell check on the Mac, but not on my PC, so sometimes I get forgetful on the PC - not seeing the red line under my text to show the typos, I assume all is well, when all is NOT!

Usually it's little English grammatical words which switch, like ie/ei or -tion and -tian and -sion...that kind of thing...they all SOUND the same but are spelled differently. As I've noted English major and all, I am better at comprehension and creative writing and analysis than grammatical rules. I used to intentionally write to break grammatical rules before I went to college.

I minored in French, too, and my French prof said I have a good "ear" for language, which may explain a lot...I'm more Musical/Aural than Verbal/Linguistic in some regards, though I'm obviously quite verbal lol.

Other common mistakes: forgetting to type entire words. Like I'll think them in my head, but look at my papers or posts and ENTIRE WORDS WILL BE MISSING. Fun stuff. I also think I started dropping articles to an extent when I was around my ENTJ friend a lot, because I tend to pick up on other people's speech patterns in terms of hearing/speaking and would begin to think certain phrases or sentences without articles.

    FUN TIMES!!!!
