    WTF? Since when did the word "Argument" carry "emotional" with it? Is it an American thing?

    BTW: Debate is the less abstract form of argument.

    Debating, yes. At least... until the other person goes berserk.

    I can, to a minimum, at least control a bit of my temper.

    It depends entirely on the person.

    Some people would rather like to argue for the sake of winning, and eventually the whole deal would end up becoming emotional argument.

    That's when I stop and leave.
