Haha, I had a customer call me this week who's caller ID read: Dick Butts.

I get the male desire to "pass down his name" but some names really should be weeded out of the name pool.

I passed by a guy in another company during basic training for breakfast a couple times with the last name "Poindexter"... Unfortunate he also had BCG's (glasses the army issues you) that could see into the future.

I remember this Olympic competitor (trampoline or something) with the last name "Cockburn". The announcers always pronounced it "Coe-burn". I'd lol.

Peg comes from Margaret? It doesn't make any sense.

I remember an older friend of my cousin's named Ivor Horne. I thought it was a joke. Why would any parent do that?

I knew brothers with the surname Longbottom, both of them very tall, they seemed to be so used to the taunts that people eventually stopped taunting.

(I wonder if those with an unfortunate surname end up being proud of it in adulthood after going through the trial by fire that must be their childhood?)
