Don't lie. We all know that they are on your bed this. very. minute.

    dun dun DUN.

I still have Whiskers in a closet. Can't part with him! I have far too many awkward photos of myself with Whiskers... usually posed by a birthday cake... and me with some giant grin plastered on my face like it's perfectly normal to be caught hanging out by a cake snuggling a stuffed animal... yeah, no big deal at all.

I never had any personal associations with any teddy bears. I do remember some lying around at some point in time though, vaguely.

    Snoopy (a dog.)

My grandmother had to give him multiple armpit and ear surgeries but he survived and is still alive. I got him when I was about 1, I think he was from a yard sale, so God knows how old he is. He has definitely developed a famous persona over the years, most of my friends actually know him. He's a very polite Welsh man that is always willing to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on.

Ironically, he looks a lot like my real dog, who is a very sweet and shy young Golden Retriever/shepard/spaniel mix from Tenessee named Rue. It's cute when Rue lays his head on Snoopy. Brothers for life. Snoopy will outlast us all though.

Like the male that I am and maybe unlike the INFP that I might be I was never really attached to stuffed animals. I did have a carebear that my sister hand made. It was the blue cranky one with the storm clouds on it. I liked it but I didn't tote it around.

My first teddy bear wasn't strongly beloved by me, but I was considerate of his feelings and sensitivities.

My best beloved bear was named Oso, his name, Oso Famoso, came to me in a dream so many many moons ago. He was there for me when I needed him.

I had a stuffed bunny named Rainbow Bunny because his ears and chest had rainbow coloured stripes on them. Still sleep with him, though.

And suddenly I remembered that I haven't washed him in 20 years.

I don't think it ever occurred to me to name any of my toys, so I would have referred to a teddy bear as 'bear'.
