[Sentence sentence sentence] yeah, so... *fade out*

So does not conclude a sentence people, either ask a question or make a statement just stop straddling the fence of passive indecisiveness if you want me to stop making this face

    "just calm down"
    "just relax"
    "take it easy"
    "just do it." :steam:

In a debate, after debating for a while: "let's just agree to disagree"

WTF??!! That's the premise/ base of a debate. We are in agreement that we disagree, hence, a debate ensues.

Just be straight and say, "I don't want to debate with you on this anymore." Or, don't respond. Or, show emotions (and I will back off in fear/disgust). Don't try to slyly get a 'stalemate' scenario going. Conclude. Either way. Don't come back to the beginning. Makes for the whole debate to be redundant.

I think we'll just have to disagree on this one.

    ANOTHER PET-PEEVE: repetition. grrrr :steam:

*I must away now, to find my zen..... (breathe in, breathe out)

    Oh, other ones!
"um...like, so like..." (repeated after every 2/3 coherent words)

"You get what I'm saying?" (you shall find out by my subsequent action/inaction/response/lack thereof)

    "Do _____" (I don't take orders well)

"Well, that's your opinion" (along the lines of, let's agree to disagree) - DUH!

"Why are you so restless?" (I'll rest when I die)

"You can't have your cake and eat it too" (why else would I want a cake, then? To look at it?)

Stoics who feel everyone should be like them, and that one should never "vent" unless they have a specific solution ( and the authority ? ) to a problem at hand and are attempting to implement it. So they refer to anyone who complains about anything whatsoever as "whining".
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them that they are being attacked and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
Reichsfuhrer Herman Goering at the Nuremburg trials.

I don't really hate these phrases, but I hate the people who use them:

    "It is what it is"
"That's just the way she goes.."
    "word"
    "teh"
