    Default Your Comfort Zone

For me, taking a shower is like temporary heavenly bliss; a slice of nirvana, if you will. The hot steamy water cleansing by body, the dark and small areas of the shower itself, the bath water that I lay my body in; for me this is my safe haven. when I shower I feel as though I'm suspended from the world; nothing can hurt me here nor make me feel anxious; I'm safe and secure. I get to be alone with my thoughts as I contemplate and mull over various ideas, thoughts, and feelings. In addition to mental pleasure, I also feel physically satisfied when I shower. For me, the shower is my comfort zone.

So for you, what is your comfort zone? Where do you go to enjoy reliefe from the stresses of your life?

    Shower, for the same reasons.
    Add music for the ideal.

Also, my car, driving. Ideally at night, ideally with music.

Remove concrete, and take it to bare-bones feeling- just add music. Takes me anywhere else but where I am. Serious endorphin lift, without fail. Shift gears, fresh cadence, new direction. Possibility and hope.. or something romantical like that.

    An engaging argument.

I never feel more comfortable and just ecstatic as when I discuss a topic with somebody and both sides actually connect and teach the other something about his/her opposition. There's nothing like the feeling of true understanding and learning directly about someone else's opinions.

My room, in my PJs. Especially with a good book (comic book or otherwise).

The library, especially if I have plugs in my ears so I can tune everything and everyone out It's pleasantly cool all year, it's shady, and it's the perfect refuge.

Driving. I love to drive the country roads close to my home. In the summer it smells like corn and grass. The closer I get to home, I can smell the lake.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

It depends on my mood at the time. The following are common places I go to for relaxation:

*In front of the computer surfing the net and visiting my favorite websites

*Taking a walk outside in nice weather, preferably in a park

    *Driving with music on

*Lying down in bed reading a good book
