Best chat-up line evah: "hey girl say good morning to mister boner !"

I am too clutterbrained to always remember saying good-morning. bad thing is when I only occasionally say good morning people tend to think, the times I dont say it I dont like them or am angry with them or want to proof a point. You cant imagine how much crap people do interprete in a simple societal norm like that.

I tend to say when I enter a room "Good morning, good miday, good evening and if we dont see each other again: good night"

I asked one of my friends why he doesn't say goodnight and he said "what if the night isn't good?"

So kind of the same thing you're saying, except he interprets it more as a glaring lack of factual information rather than a false wish.

Therefore, instead of good morning, may I suggest:

    "sup, bro"

    "what it is, ho"

    "sup motherfucker"

    "how's it goin?"

    "OHAI"

    and the always heart-warming

"where the fuck have you been?"

I don't really understand those sorts of pleasantries. Maybe it's the lack of Fe. Maybe it's the lack of social skills, period. I 'get' that it's an acknowledgment, I just don't see the point. I try to do it, though, with family at least, but it sure doesn't come naturally. I agree with Marm's friend. What if I say good whatever time of the day it is, and they're having an epically shitty day? I like the idea of just nodding to one another.
I got my smile from the sunshine,
I got my tears from the rain.
I learned to dance when I saw a tiger prance,
And a peacock taught me to be vain.
A little owl in a tree so high,
He taught me how to wink my eye.
I learned to bill and coo from a turtledove,
And a grizzly bear taught me how to hug.
But the guy that lived two caves from me,
He taught me how to love.

I usually just say something like "It's been a night." When someone has asked me how I've been. I usually don't say good morning, mostly I just start having a conversation with the person I'm with, it's my way of saying 'hey, you're there I want you to know that, and you should think about this idea I've been munching on and then we can go about our day and talk about you. '... Most people interpret that correctly.

Other times I just preemptively strike with a "How are you?" I don't like talking unless it's going to be a conversation.

Then you need to wish them a "bad morning" instead.
