I don't think that being young sucks. Every age has pros and cons. Saying that any one is worse than any other one is ignorant and it's romanticizing something.

    BUT...

I agree with these. No. 6 is especially annoying, speaking as a young woman who doesn't find any of her peers attractive (because the sexy ones are douchebags, and the cool ones aren't good-looking, and I like dating people who are both sexy AND cool).

    Indeed, sir. We demand respect.

That doesn't change. In fact, it gets worse.

    2) you can't get a high paying job anywhere
    Same for 99.99% of adults.

    3) you have no real life experience with anything
But that means the whole world is new to discover.

    4) people treat you like a child until age 30
That's true, if you act like a child until 30. After that, people just treat you like you're pathetic.

    5) college is overrated as hell and is becoming less and less of an asset
College isn't for everyone. However, you can't knock it until you've tried it.

    6) if you're a guy, women probably won't find you really attractive until late 20s once you have a stable job and respectable income
For most guys, that's what it takes to get some confidence, which is the real determinant.

    7) until you find what you're passionate about, you have to do a bunch of work that you dislike but it necessary for your survival
This does not change, contrary to what others may have told you.

    8) most of the important decisions in your life come at this time despite it being the time when you have least wisdom and experience
Depends on what makes a decision "important." You also have fewer bad habits, the younger you are.

    9) old people talk condescendingly to you unless you go TJ lawyer personality on their ass
Think that's bad? Just wait until it's people your own age who do that, because they make more money than you, are superior within your organization, think they know more than you, or are of a higher social class than you are. At that point, the personality isn't enough - you need the actual lawyer, and even then, that doesn't always work.

    10) you can think of a million fun things you'd like to do, but you don't have enough money to do any of them
    This doesn't change much, either.

Appreciate youth, because it goes faster than any of us think.

Being old and frail is certainly worse than being young and healthy. Of course the only thing that sucks more than being old and frail is being young and frail.

Your life will ultimately suck less if you donate all your money towards medical research.
