Yes, I do, because I work from home so I'm able to exert the full P-ness of my personality and fuck around and multitask then actually get a lot of work done in short, intense bursts, or I'll do more some days than others.

I really should focus better, though.

Yes, although I'm waiting for the site to eventually, inevitably, become firewalled, and also I am aware of the fact that in theory I could be / am monitored, and as such I am mildly paranoid and also avoid viewing/reading/posting in or about certain topics/threads.

Not a chance if I'm in any way hooked into a client's network. They'd think me retarded for getting into typology. Unfortunately, they're probably right!

I put down my productivity suffers, simply because there is more I could always do... but I still always meet my deadlines and get any official work done, just not as thoroughly as I could.

by phone when stuck with down time during the day (like at lunch... or waiting for a client to have some free time!)... since I have nothing better to do in that time, so I can't say that it has an effect on my productivity

The worst mistake people make in political arguments is assuming that the other side is not trying to do the right thing. This simple oversight makes productive conversation nearly impossible.

Me too. I'm not suuuuper worried because I usually only do it during slow time, like in the summer, and I still get all my other work done. I suspect that we are perhaps monitored, though, and it does worry me sometimes.

I check in here and there, some days, on break/lunch. I use my phone though because I don't want to use the company's computer to visit personal sites. I do almost all of my posting from home. So productivity doesn't suffer, thankfully my current job is pretty interesting so I don't find the need, otherwise I'd definitely distract myself more during the day. I'm lucky.
