It just seems weird for a man to be a house husband while the wife is at work...seems like a bitch move, lol (excuse my french). But If the husband and wife were rich and could both stay home it would be more acceptable (to me anyway) .

Well if I'm prejudicial about the place then that's just a reason I shouldn't go there, wouldn't you say?

I want a flat, prefferably on Lake Como (Italia) or in NYC, with a 9' grand piano (and some other instruments), a good stereo and recording equipment, and a bed. I just want to compose music, drink coffee, read books and be left alone. I'll get the ocassional tumble in the hay with an ex-GF. That's about all I need.
Oh, and a trust fund, of course.

Raising kids is hard work. I don't know if I'd be good at it for a serious length of time.

^ Granted you put time and effort into the older ones first. Something that is considerably more annoying than, say, anything.

There's a distinction in my mind between house husband, house pet, and someone who works from home.

-House Husband - his main job is to keep the house.
-House pet - his main job is to keep me happy and look cute.
-Works from home - he earns wages (from others) from the comfort of his home.

Given to those distinctions, I would not mind a house pet, or a works from home husband. If I wanted someone to keep my house, I'd hire a maid and a cook.
