    1. How do you view yourself, simple or complex?
    2. What's the feedback been from others about whether you're simple or complex?
    3. If there's disparity between the two views, have you or have you not attempted to reconcile the two?
    4. If you've attempted to reconcile the two, why or what was the disparity?

I was assuming that complex was going to be the opposite of that. (eh, doesn't matter, I get what you're saying, now!)

Well, ya know, I originally thought that "complex" meant depth of thought, and then noticed people answering the question as related to their inner turmoil and wants (which is something rather different) so thought I had missed the OP somehow. Guess I had it right the first time! (Making my own definition.)

    Simple, yet complex.

Simple in that I don't really need much to be happy (though I do have dreams that I would love to pursue.)

Complex in that, well, "still waters run deep."

Reconcile the two perceptions? Hell, I muddy the waters intentionally. It's more fun that way.

If you view yourself as overly complex, maybe you're thinking about things too hard. I'd recommend not doing that.
