I have no idea how simple or complex I am compared with others. I feel like my own thoughts sometimes are complex and difficult to describe but I wonder if most people aren't like this some of the time. Sometimes people think that my explanations and thoughts are too complex but others say they have no trouble understanding me.

I think the people I know in real life would probably perceive me as more simple than complex but I am just guessing here. That's because they don't know all thoughts that are running through my head. Also, I try to act in a predictable straightforward manner with others.

I think people on this forum might see me as more complex because this is a place where I do articulate some of the deeper things I think. But so many people here on this forum do just that so compared to the average person on this forum, I don't think I'm all that complex.
The answer can be less achieved with mathematical precision but is more a reflection of how you feel about yourself. If you think you are simple, you seem to want to be a person who likes harmony and peace and when things work. You are most probably a supportive partner. When I say complex I say it because I am work. I come up with new ideas on a minute basis and I have no idea how my girlfriend stands my daily mood swings, I am convinced she has some punching bag in the cellar I dunno of

    I find myself rather simple

others find me to be complex for some reason

I see no reason to bother trying to reconcile it when I can simply write them off as simple minded instead

Going by that definition I consider myself simple than complex.

    1: Refreshingly simple
2: When they don't know me they think I'm complex, but I'm pretty simple, just a little vague at times.

I'm simple, when it comes to my lifestyle and needs, but complex when it comes to inner turmoil. I have plenty of that, every day is a battle and it never stops. I haven't really gotten much reliable and serious feedback, I don't really see why people would care. I think they'd see me as simple when they're only looking at my lifestyle and don't bother to get to know me, if they did they'd probably be surprised and after a while, when the initial impression wears off, I'd seem simple again.
I have never attempted to make any kind of impression on people on purpose. I am what I am, be it simple one moment or complex the next. I'd like to be more simple, maybe I'd get some peace once and for all. I think that's why I try to purposefully keep my life as simple as possible.

I view myself as a person with simple needs, but to achieve those needs in this world has taken some creativity and can seem complex/impossible sometimes, given the intricacies of what it might take to achieve those seemingly 'simple' things - peace, love, happiness, challenge, inspiration... lol.

I have been called open by others, and by a few complex. But I tend not to be very talkative, so I don't think most people would have a good sense of who I am anyway - so I'm sure many might think me simple. Which is fine, as much of the time, at the root, I view myself that way too.

I've never seen myself as having a lot of inner turmoil, or being 'broken' or anything like that; when I HAVE had turmoil or been conflicted, I really want to solve for that! I don't want it to be part of my self-identity.

Probably somewhere in between. It doesn't take a lot to make me feel happy and content, but I do have some stuff going on that makes me feel a little bit chaotic inside when I think about it.

    1.) I'm somewhere in between.
2.) I don't get much feedback on the matter. I think it depends on who you ask. Most people who don't know me well would say I'm simple, people who are getting to know me might say that I'm complex, people who know me very well may vacillate between the two/ say that I'm somewhere in between. In emotional, romantic relationships, I would likely be described as confusing and complex.
3.) I have tried to strive for simplicity.
4.) Most surface and known aspects are myself are very simple. There are sides of me that are extremely confusing and complex and impossible to sort. Feelings, thoughts, reactions. They tend to stay on the back burner most of the time but surface when I least expect it. I have not tried to figure out the more complex aspects of myself, I just try to recognize simplicity and things that make life easy.

    1) Simple, though inner turmoil and conflict is pretty normal
    2) Complex
    3) I've tried to, but I can't seem to say it correctly
    4) I'm quiet and I daydream alot, so I assume others think that I've built a series of walls to keep people out. I've just the one, though.

Inner turmoil and conflitct, that's me.
But people tell me I actually seem quite calm and simple.
    INFP thing?

I don't care for the disparity, but isn't everyone complex on the inside?
