    Question Pictures of People?!?

I realized a the other day after visiting one of my friends and looking around her room that I have absolutley no pictures of people hanging on my walls in my house I have pictures of landscapes, framed album covers and a world map, but no pictures of people (not even in frames sitting on the bookshelf or on the table!)

Anyone else do this? And what would possess a person to hang up pics of friends, family and themselves?

and does this mean that I'm a terrible person and bad friend?

It means you don't carry a camera around to document every totally awesome minute.

    It's a good thing.

    Totally.

I don't do it either. In fact, I don't know that I even have a physical photograph in my possession of anyone, including myself.

the pathetic thing is that I DO always have my camera on me- I just tend to take pictures of things like landscapes or signs that amuse me instead of pictures of my friends!

I have absolutely no pictures of people hanging on my walls. My own artwork of animals, nature, yes. But no, not people. And I carry my camera everywhere, documenting pretty much every moment, if I can.

then again, all of my pictures are on my computer or online somewhere like facebook. I don't feel compelled to hang all that all over my walls when I have them all nice and organized somewhere else.

btw, I too, take more pictures of signs/amusing things than people. It drives my ESFJ Mom crazy on family trips

You probably see your friends more often than you see the things that you take pictures of. I mean...I don't take pictures of the inside of my room and then hang them up on my wall, know what I mean?

Pictures of people are lame, more or less.

    Some are cool.

    Most aren't.

    (like portrait pictures, contrived yuckiness)

I've only ever had maps, or stuff about animals, or a combination of the two.
For instance, there was a map that showed where various different kinds of pinnipeds lived.

Nah. I don't really have anything like this either. I have one picture of me and my sister at her wedding (on a table in a remote corner of the living room) and a picture my old lab gave me when I left (not hung). In my case, I simply don't really hang pictures on the wall, but other than the two I mentioned (both of which were given to me), I just don't have photos of people. I think some folks just aren't people-photo types. They seem less... artistic than nature/landscapes, and it just makes me feel weird putting my family and friends "on display" like that.

I just have one picture in my house. It's of my mom and stepdad when they got married. They gave it to me so I figured I would pretend to be one of those people who keeps pictures around. It's been there for 3 years and I think I looked at it once. My walls have maps, quotes, posters, and my own artwork.
