I can relate. Sometimes I need a pick me up. We all do. It's times like these where I seek comfort from the one place where everyone is a stranger...the internet. Just knowing there are other people out there that can relate in ways that so few people seem to be able to...it always cheers me up. I wonder if that is not normal...dealing with real people leads to stress...dealing with virtual people leads to enjoyment.
If you really need to get out of the house and would like your moods to be lifted...go to a cemetery. Read the epitaphs...try to predict how people died...how they lived...what their lives were like...if they were happy...etc
After thinking about all those soldiers that died during the world wars...the people who were born and died before your grandmother was born....the people who have generations of family buried at the same place...the reason why they chose to have certain words/symbols on their tombstones...the girls who got married at 16 and never got divorced...the ones who got married 16 and died a year later...the ones who apparently died alone....you start to gain perspective.
