I've only done stand-up three times, but it's gone pretty well. I love being an attention whore and having an entire crowd listen to me.

    DON'T:
    • Enjoy parties all that much
    • Demand 'authority' or respect from most people (in non-professional settings)
    • Intentionally egg people on just to piss them off (...unless they're my friend or family than all bets are off)
    Just about right

    Duse:

    - tend to be non-linear in communication and reasoning, move at my own pace (normal sequences feel sluggish and forced if you understand)
    - very reserved in public when alone
    - harmonious, don't like bad blood and people being mad at one another, I do consider others before making decisions usually
    - making big decisions is difficult; wait for better options (example: 2.5 years of higher education, still no major, still unsure if I'll complete or look into becoming an electrician)

    Doughnuts:

    - Not afraid to change values if they turn out to not make sense
    - Don't really feel all that special or creative
    - not afraid to be corrected, although I still have an ego

    Don't do/Unexpected:
    -no creative outlets, not artistic
    -hate writing
    -I am skeptical
-I am analytical (don't know if this is unexpected or not)
    -somewhat masculine
    - INFPs can be extremely analytical (and most are, especially INFP 5s), they just do it in a much more subjective, holistic way than their NT brethren.
    - Fi can be extremely masculine at times as it's very passionate and intense. it's also very protective and often is seen protecting the weak and innocent (that kid who stood up to the bully and always looked after the weaker kids was definitely an Fi user and probably an INFP)

7s are usually very intelligent jack-of-all trades type people who learn very quickly and often have a hard time deciding what to pursue more seriously (guilty as charged)

    Stereotypical:

    Apparently calm demeanour
    Serious-minded
Small number of friends who are truly close
Fascinated by human nature and generally good insights into it, partly through my own experience, partly what I've learned from others
Pick up on others' feelings, at least when I know them well
    Sometimes very intuitive about others
Honest and self-aware about my own failings, but tend to feel upset when others level same criticisms at me
Best at expressing myself through writing
    Low energy
Generally quiet/dry sense of humour tending to the unexpected
    Slightly (though only slightly) reclusive
Read and write poetry, as well as other literature
Try to help people including disturbed teenagers (ok, one disturbed teenager, but still!)
Generally deeply appreciate the arts and make time for them
Am a religious/spiritual person (not quite sure if that's an INFJ stereotype, but certainly more so than for many other types, I think)

    Non-typical:

    Sometimes loud, silly and non-serious
Very outgoing at times, enjoying having a wide circle of friends and acquaintances
Messy - not to the point where I can't find things - I generally know where things are - but my apartment looks like a bomb hit much of the time, not to speak of my desk at work
Sometimes totally oblivious and not intuitive about others - or I don't trust my gut feelings enough to follow them, but I certainly don't feel infallible like some INFJs seem to!
More practical than many INFJs in terms of romance and so on, ie. thinking about practicalities of relationships
Enjoy loud parties and drinking, though only in moderation and when in the right mood
Enjoy loud rock concerts and crowds (well, not always crowds, depends on the context)
Enjoy non-emo music...ie. hard rock and metal (mostly listening to Def Leppard, Queensryche, Dream Theater, The Clash etc these days)
Avid Facebook user (I'm sure that varies a lot, but a lot of INFJs seem to say they hate FB and similar networks)
Generally not a popular culture snob, though I don't care for a lot of it. Some of what I enjoy is very "high culture" and some is very "low culture", but I'll give you a good argument for any form of culture that I enjoy being worthwhile and well-crafted. Obscure German poetry can be worthwhile; 80s hair metal can be worthwhile.

Honestly...I think I'm a fairly typical INFJ, or a fairly typical INFJ of the more outgoing variety. The stuff that seems contradictory is fairly typical of our "layers", I think (ie. seeming reclusive but also seeming outgoing - that sort of thing. And I think sometimes it's just me embracing my ESTP shadow - seriously!) The stuff to do with my tastes in music etc is perhaps a bit out of the ordinary, but also fairly superficial in terms of personality.

    Stereotypical stuff:

    - Absent-minded
    - Not a fan of small talk
    - Like learning for the sake of learning/Infophile
    - Agnostic/Atheist
    - Not much of an orator... I'm pretty hopeless with verbal communication sometimes
    - Procrastinate a lot
    - Analytical
    - Theorize, theorize, theorize
    - Irreverent
    - Fairly reclusive

    • Although I do procrastinate, I usually meet my deadlines and responsibilities when I need to. I'm known to be reliable.
    • I'm not as funny/witty as a lot of other NPs
    • I was a very oversensitive child, and people made fun of me all the time
This is dead-on for me. All of it. Add to that:

    - Willing to lead others (I'd like to think I'm pretty good at it too)
    - Tidy room; I can't stand messy environments, ugh
    - Not afraid of physical/emotional intimacy (with certain people anyway)
    - Generally LIKE people

The worst mistake people make in political arguments is assuming that the other side is not trying to do the right thing. This simple oversight makes productive conversation nearly impossible.
