    - Go to Akon
    - Work at my jobs very hard
    - Finish up my goals for the house
    - Set everything up so that all I have to do is pack and leave in the fall.

That one's tough to plan. We can try, though.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Again, WHY do you all plan to work harder during the summer? Isn't it counterintuitive? Anti-biological?

Summer vacation is just for schoolchildren in the USA. We don't have the same culture of cutting back work in the summer (I think August mostly?) that you guys in Europe do. It's just business as usual.
Everybody have fun tonight. Everybody Wang Chung tonight.

If I had my wish, that would not be the case, but such is life.
I really do wish we had the same work practices as in France, but as it stand here in the U.S., I'm just happy I have a job in these tough economic times.
I do plan to have as much fun as possible during the summer, taking advantage of my off-school time.

    -work more
    - procrastinate less
    - get engaged
    - make more $
-take some short local trips San Francisco/Hollywood
-Go hiking in Sierra Nevadas or River Rafting down Colorado

These are just goals. I already booked a hotel in San Francisco so I can see my nephew graduate jr. high and visit a showing of one of the original drafts of the Magna Carta; so that one one the list is most likely to jell.
