I'd go window over aisle but I'm really not fussed. What movies are playing?

The father of the bride series, in succession. Does this affect your sitting preference? Personally, anything Julia Roberts related post-Erin Brockovich typically isn't worth the headache of trying to get an aisle seat.

No, I'll watch anything to pass the time. I don't like to read moving.

The window: I was lucky to sit near it on several trips overseas

'Tis much better to do a little with certainty, & leave the rest for others that come after you, than to explain all things by conjecture without making sure of any thing.”—Statement from unpublished notes for the Preface to the Opticks (1704) by Newton.

Aisle, definitely. I usually have to get up to go to the bathroom a lot, so I like to be on the aisle so I can do that whenever I want to. I also have long legs, so it's nice to have the aisle there if I need to stretch out a little bit.

I pretty much grew up on airplanes (If I had to estimate, I'd say I've probably taken 120-150 flights--counting connections as one flight-- and that's probably low) but still I hate flying. I'm not scared of it, it's just annoying and uncomfortable.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Before 9/11 window seat, I liked to look out and really experience flying, since 9/11 aisle seat, I like to think that if some asshole was trying to light his shoe or semtex pampers I'd get at least one good punch to their face before whatever happens happens.

Also sometimes I need to use the toilet on flights, not so much now but I used to have a nervous thing about any sort of long haul travel, I needed buses or trains to have toilets I could use too.

the first dozen times or so it was always the window because flying was so new and cool. now that it's old hat i find the aisle is much more conducive to drinking on the plane since it has direct access to the toilet.

i like window when i know who's sitting next to me, because i know i trust their hygiene and habits. otherwise i prefer aisle, so i can stretch out as far away from the other person as possible if needed

I haven't flown much, a few times to Aruba, about 9-12 hour flight from here, first time when I was 12, last when I was 18.

I prefered the aisle. More leg room.
