Don't be silly, depending on how you define your parameters, you can even categorize everyone in the world into a single category, but just as easily into 6 billion different ones.. So yes, ofcourse it can be put into 16 types. No where does it say that everyone that falls into a specific category is exactly the same. MBTI is just stating 16 categories, of which no doubt one is closest to home, that category is the one you fall in.

    I don't want your cookie.

    I'll have his!

I still like MBTI for its terminology and as a foundation to branch out on when analyzing people, though.

I still get my cookie, right?

Exactly. We're here to expand upon gross simplifications laid out by a relatively rough indicator of trends in cognitive processes, nothing sinister, nothing silly, and everything here is a collective learning experience by the members, for the members.

Did you change your name again? Or are you not that sweet, hot piece of fleming ass that I so love to stalk when I feel all creepy and lurky like?

If you are not allowed a cookie for liking MBTI, then I will buy you a pack myself!

    THEY LOOK AWESOME!!

I would say that MBTI like the other personality matrixes are good if they make people more thoughtful and reflective or interested in their own functioning, that of others and how those things interact.

    This.

Also I seem to notice a pattern of people regularly coming back from an outtime to say that MBTI is nonsense because of exactly that reason that you cannot put people into only 16 categories, lol.

This thread is full of carbs and it makes me sad in the pancreas.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman
