^This is how I am too. Hate it. But I've learned to accept it a little better now. I always get to the coolly objective part, always. I don't know why I have to go through the fiery feeling stage first but if I repress that part, the outpouring just increases in magnitude. :/

My general attitude of detachment and indifference towards most things.

But if I am to look on the bright side of things, it makes the rare instances of attachment very meaningful and genuine. (:

Forgetfullness. And when you can't remember important dates or you forget how to get home... it gets serious. I don't have an alarm system in my head like some people do, no matter how many times I think of an apt throughout the week I will forget to think of it the day of the apt. And when I can't recall things people have said that are of importance to them, or I forget Birthday's, people take it so personally. But I don't even remember my own Birthday!

I have trouble ignoring the white noise of activity in my brain (never shuts off, rarely slows down, constantly running gears like a clock's internal bits) enough to listen to that which I know, sometimes. At times I can know the answer to something intuitively and/or logically and still have to ask the question because of this, with both large and small things. Calming (quieting?) down enough mentally to listen to my own inner voice and all that jazz.

Oh yes! Thank goodness for printable calendars, or I'd be an even worse university student...
