Played it and got bored. You should try Go. It's more relaxing and if your mind skips ahead, it's perfect.
It's also less rigid and even if there's plenty of choices, many more, you'll be able to breathe a bit.
Just follow your natural patterns and you'll be fine.

It's so odd, Js seem to play the game so easily , they decide so quickly what to do

    Yes.

I have a great app from Shredder Chess...they have competition settings so as you get better so does the computerized opponent. It even simulates boneheaded human moves that one makes from time to time.

Go is a nice game indeed It requires different thinking than chess.

    LOL

The worst is those friggen bishops sitting stealthily in a corner and you move your queen thinking you're about to do some damage, and it's right in their path. I HATE that!

I hate it when I dominate the beginning of the game, but till the end I lose focus and start losing ridiculously

Only 6 unit types and turn-based? Yuck!

    I'll stick to a much more sophisticated spectator strategy sport @ 400 moves/minute ;p

Yeah...starcraft is much more enjoyable, more adapting/ less planning.

Personally, I'm a big fan of card games over chess.

Much more fun. And there's like a gazillion different versions to learn and get good at.

As possibly win money with. Ho ho ho! Now we be talking!
