A combination of crazy liberality and hedonism, the weight of history and the presence of the dead...I had the strangest feelings in that place.

I just love the fact that like I said, every time I've been to Germany it's been quite a different experience, but an extremely cool and enjoyable one.

By the way entropie, I am going to watch those vids and comment on them, just haven't got around to it
Ya dont take the vids to serious they are humor but thanks for watching .

Regarding culture, in the picture above my post we for example have a black&white caption. That probably says something about it's actuality

I mean in some deep dark 10-soul village in Bavaria they are probably still finding music like that "groovy" or in the North, where they hump sheeps. But the cool people from the west are WAY to metropolitan and modern for that

LOL indeed. Although the shorts/suspenders/white socks doesn't do a lot for me, they are quite cute guys though.

Soooo...do German guys like six-foot-tall girls? I'd probably look like less of a freak there, anyway. I know there are quite a lot of tall women in Germany, and last time I was there I nearly went crazy with shoe shopping, with all the lovely large sizes. I've been mistaken for a German before.

@ Entropie: Hey, careful! I am from the North (and judging by the Nordmilch brand dairy products in is fridge, so is Nicodemus)! I can't vouch for my neighbors, but I swear I never humped a sheep!

@SilkRoad: Oh, socks in sandals are another national specialty, but not the thick, long Bavarian type..I'm talking tennis socks in Birkenstock, baby!

@Slowriot: I am seriously thinking about moving to Brlin and so are a few friends. Let's all go there, rent a mansion and start our own reality show!

Socks in Birkenstocks? I'm from west coast Canada originally, so I could TOTALLY get on board with that. Although I tried to leave that part of my past behind me.

Yay for the big house in Berlin!

It's a deal then. And about size: you should be more than fine here. Large people tend to stand out, but tall people (compared to many other westen countries) are quiet common...that's your Scandinavian herritage, eh?

I on the other hand am relatively small for this country and enjoy how I blend in when I'm in Spain (even thoug young Spaniards are visiblly taller then their parent's generation - an interesting phenomenon!)
