    Default What is your generation?

Here is the "official" classification, with a lot of various explanations:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generations_(book)

I think that type of poll is better to consider the population of the forum than a question about age, because people age of one year every 365 days and 1/4, so it changes too much and it is not very accurate.

I'am a Y of the Third Wave, by the way.

I appear to be part of the Millennial Generation, or Generation Y (second wave). I would guess that most members of this forum are also members of that generation.

My mother and father were part of Generation X. My Grandmother and Grandfather were part of the Silent Generation. For some odd reason, there don't seem to be any Baby Boomers in my family. I guess my Grandmother married fairly late in life.

Gen X. By age and by any normal sense of the definitions...

    EDIT: 2nd wave
