I'm not sure why I feel this way or what exactly I expected to find in here, but this thread kind of depresses me. I'm finding it hard to relate to some of the qualifies being pegged as uniquely "woman." I mean, yeah, dresses are cool, make-up is cool, boobs can be cool sometimes I guess, but generally I'd like to think there's more to our experience than just these mostly superficial, gendered things.

Am I alone in this feeling? Because it def feels that way.

Neptune: nah, you aren't. Of course there is more to our existence, but I tend to think that goes beyond such frivolous things.

This thread can be as deep or light as you want it to be, about loving being a woman. If you have deeper thoughts, feel free to express them.

I half think having a baby is cool half think it's creepy and awful and a little disgusting.

What's different between men and women beside sex/gender? Otherwise couldn't we just have this topic as "what do you love about being a human?"

This thread began as a lighthearted, positive thread when this site was being hammered by the misogynistic crowd. Now, rather than tearing the thread and others down, how be as a woman, you ladies throw in your much deeper thoughts and feelings about loving being a woman?
