Not only is that unreasonable, I seriously doubt it is sincere.

I, bologna, hate all dog owners on a personal level.

Now, you should all direct your ire at me and stop this bullshit arguing

    Okay, ire transferred to you.

Back on topic. Love both dogs and cats. Dislike poorly socialised pets in general.

I think even you know you were too quick on the draw.

Cats are nice when they're other people's pets but I couldn't emotionally care enough to have to care for one on my own. I find them hard to care about. I'm reading a Temple Grandin book today (who is the Malcolm Gladwell of the animal and cognition genre) and maybe she'll give me good info to change my mind.

Her humans shape the environment and genes to create rapist chickens part was fascinating. Maybe people did something similar to cats to make them moody as hell.

Weren't they somewhat deified by Egyptians? Perhaps they developed a God complex.

    :funny:

On the otherhand, moody cat behaviour can be explained in human terms. Say someone was stroking your hair and it felt good for awhile. Then it started to irritate you so you up and walked away. Or, you got zapped with static electricity and it hurt, so you got pissed off at the person who "hurt" you.
