The tests I saw on TV had the cats owners changed but the cats residence wasn't. The cat wasn't fussed at all. Changing residence with the same owners threw the cat.

But, depending on their personality, they are very much capable of forming intimate bonds with other living beings, to the point where only another fellow cat, or a human they are particularly fond of, can invade their personal space bubble, get groomed and use them as a pillow
So I shouldn't give people a hard time that they are only in it for food and shelter?

More like, you should be honored that your feline is willing to bond with you in such an intimate way. Know that she is rather picky as to whom deserves said honor

If the owners threw the cat, no wonder they didn't give a shit about them!

My cat loves me and pines when I travel. I once had one that never forgave me for it.

Yes, cat throwing is very naughty.

I always feel like people are projecting onto cats. But I like cats for it, it is a good deal.

Well, I guess projecting onto them is better than projecting them.

You really have to live with a cat to even begin to have them understand you.

I have lived with a lot of cats. Never had my own cat though, the family cat, etc... I don't have any hate for cats, they have a good deal.

There are several things about this video that I particularly enjoy:

    - The cat looks like a cardboard cut out
    - The cat looks like a cardboard cut out that can bleed in splotches that magically appear on its fur
    - The noise it makes is wretched.

Haha yeah. It's ridiculous and dorky and a horrible sound but hilarious.

I'm pretty sure it was inspired by this real cat.

Do not piss off cats. :P
