Thank you. Years and years later, this makes me feel better. Seriously.

Oh. That's disappointingly understandable. I was hoping for a down-in-flames kind of spelling.

That's another. I think this is an under-recognised phenomenon. Who knows how many sufferers are really out there?

I also wonder, seriously, if there's a correlation between the things that make someone likely to do pretty well in spelling bees and the traits that make those same people likely to be haunted by the memory of their failures.

Pfft. If you did well in spelling bees, you wouldn't have those failures to haunt you anyway.

What is so difficult about spelling bees, anyway? B-E-E-S. Honey bees are benign and produce honey, but getting honey from killer bees is far more dangerous.

I've never had a problem with it.

    Cool Netiquette of Princesseses

i don't know, should i research before asking a question? should i stay on-topic? flaming is never nice, but what if they deserve it? how loudly should i scream if i get carried away by a troll?

well, i'm tired of being a proper princess. i don't want to learn netiquette, i want to learn about all the other interesting things. all the other princesses might get a bit miffed at for me behaving un-princessly, but my attention is on the interesting things, and just not on netiquette.

"Your word is schedule. Julie keeps a schedule to stay organized. Schedule."
    "Schedule. S-C-H-E-D-G-U-L-E. Schedule."

My failure to spell that word correctly as a child, the subsequent humiliation it caused... birthed a parasitic psychological succubus, discreetly poised and tucked away in the recesses of my mind leeching energy from the far corners of my psyche, garnering enough power to erect itself and follow me as a dark shadow into my adult life - its sole purpose to ensure I remain incapable of keeping a schedule. Forever will I be that humiliated 7 year-old - a disorganized, fumbling mess of fail, putting my "Gs" where they don't belong...

It haunts. It taunts. The irony - it overwhelms!

*emphatically collapses into a pile of disorganized crap on the floor*
