Terrible things happen to good people every day.
Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

    Conclusion: Dinosaurs

Well, I live in a somewhat rural area. The farm is surrounded by about 6' fence with barbed wire on top in places. The perimeter can be fortified.

I doubt many will come here.

We have some guns, but mainly we have some swing blades.

I already have some food. I continue to accumulate food, and I hope I have enough to last...if this is the kind where a cure will be found.

If not, there are a lot of carp...which are edible if you are really, really hungry. If there is no end in sight, then I'll probably travel.

Id like to point out to everyone on here, to be helpful, Spruce needles have around 8 times the vitamin C of the average orange, do NOT eat them however (you will get sick if you swallow them, chewing would be ok), steeped as a tea is best, especially with a bit of mint, and some sweetener (sugar will last forever if kept dry) works great, you get tons of Vitamin C, so no scurvy! (the tips of the branches, especially if new growth have the highest amount, and the mildest flavor, older needles become very bitter...) also, dont do this with redwoods... they have vitamin c as well, but are poisonous...

Oh and beans contain a complete protein. vit C and a complete protein, you can survive years on just beans and spruce tips if you HAD too.

I feel this has been done to death in past few years but I have not gone without thinking about it for the hell of it.

If the zombies are capable of toppling a civilization(s) or nation(s) then I will not have much of a chance.

    I am:

    - not physically capable of enduring running long distances or survival in harsh conditions
    - not trained to defend myself with any weapon (including body)
    - usually lazy
    - probably not immune to a hypothetical outbreak virus or wizard's necromantic magics
    - sure I didn't finish Max Brooks' survival guide

I don't have plans. Would not head to a walmart or hospital or something retarded like that, though. I'd try to enjoy the anarchy permitted by the mindless atrocities before being killed by...something.

I'd recommend some tire work to build some power for smashing the zombies.
