    Default Neatness vs. Messiness

Just curious if there is a trend towards neatness or messiness in the types.

I tend to vary between the two, like usually I'll have specific loactions for items, but the items will mostly be scattered around in a mess.

Or like with my Magic the Gathering collection; every card is organized by set, color, legality, and whatnot, except for the dozen or so half-way finished decks that I have.

Not sure you're going to get a good snapshot when using the category of NT. NTPs lean towards being messy and NTJs lean towards neatness.

I'm more neat than messy but not neat enough to consider myself a total neat freak. So I voted in the average category.

I'm a bit of a neat freak... compulsive really. But only in my own space...I've gotten a lot more laid back in the last 6 months though.

I used to be so ocd about it that when I visited a friends house, I'd "organize" while they weren't looking

dunno how to answer that question really. i kinda aim for functionality. there is alot of mess in my apartment, but things i use have their own place. when it comes to something like eating a tortilla(where some people get really messy)(or doing things like that), im extremely neat, but i might leave the plate on floor, but not anywhere where i might step on it. my fridge might look like a mess, but its kind of organized mess, every juice box is the right way in the fridge and has its own place where its easy to grab, butter knife is on the butter box the right way around for easy grabbing and the butter box is on the right way around also and has its own place etc etc. when it comes to other peoples property, usually i put things exactly where i picked them up, and if i happen to mess something(usually i dont) ill clean it right away and clean it well.

I'm kind of messy. But not dirty. I like really empty spaces or junk everywhere.

It was difficult to decide between average messiness and total slob, but I chose the latter

i like things to be clean orderly but more for aesthetic purposes.
but i'm naturally messy. organised chaos.
