Anything's better than christmas morning at my house circa 1995-2005.

Hey, I don't see any reason April Fools' Day can't be celebrated on December 25th.

Good point, Uber. Might have to change the name though.
Why do we always come here?

    I guess we'll never know.

It's like a kind of torture,
To have to watch this show.

    Felt the same way.

Only if I get to be the damsel in distress.

Let's see.. INTP father, raised by his INTP father.. Not only did we not celebrate this holiday.. but you would be the object of much derision were you to give off the slightest hint that you expected a gift or were even in good spirits. My dad went out of his way to make sure he ruined the day before anyone could even have their morning tea and wake up fully.

Now I laugh about it, but damn.. as a youngsta those were some pretty heartbreaking holy days.

Okay, that is MEAN. I mean, how much of a bully do you have to be to make someone think they got something they really wanted, and then laugh at them when they're disappointed it wasn't really there?

I think it's really sweet that they want to make up for his not getting one by sending him one. They really don't have to (as it isn't their responsibility that this happened), but I think it shows sincere empathy on their part. That's the really beautiful thing about all this.

No, no one's really out to fuck anyone else over, you're right, but they're certainly going to protect themselves from the other people who are protecting themselves, inadvertently fucking others over.

The whole family is clueless. Even the kid. Probably especially the kid.
He got owned and we should LOL (if you pardon the pun I through in there).

The whole thing the kid did with his reaction seemed remarkably fake as well. My guess is, deception is commonplace among their family.
The kid was trying to convince someone (maybe just himself) that he needed it extremely badly, and they would give it to him if he felt bad enough.

I especially liked the condemning "we can't afford an xbox 360" saying, basically "you're not getting it now, and probably are never getting it"
Anyone else notice that selfishness? Oh well I guess, if they really are that poor, it's a natural mentality.

I have to say though that kid got sufficiently owned. I wanna see the followup where he turns into the Santa Clause "Jigsaw"
    we fukin won boys
