Exhibit A: our Jeffster. A classic bottom lefter (why does that sound rude?? ) who is, nonetheless, neither a creepy stalker nor brainless. He gives out opinions sometimes but it's short 'n' sweet, and tends to be a result of him having read what others were saying, thought about it (however briefly ) and then delivered his take on it for us to take or leave. I can't see him hanging around to argue his point with the aggressive intellectual heavyweights, not cos he couldn't (cos like I know Night and SDM copy from your homework Jeffster, don't worry I know how it feels ), but cos he just figures it ain't worth it. That's what bottom lefters do

    So... Top righters do what?

Step into conversations they aren't involved in with an agenda and aggressively push home their points with moderately explained ideas?

What's the secure top righter act like? Or is top right intrinsically insecure?

Would secure top right apply themselves to a wide variety of topics, with an agenda of aid only? Applying their understandings for the betterment of all forum kind?

    I could live with that.

Jeffster is one of my favourite posters. Wise, concise, entertaining.

Can't he branch out into another dimension?

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

reason does the top right thing in a totally different way, she seems to do it without being anywhere near so belligerent or patronizing. at least from what I see... which admittedly, isn't much since, being left-sider, I don't have much to do with the "serious" threads... having given up academia for Lent a few years back and realized how cool life was without it, never gone back... lol

Just because reason, Hustler, and BW all have different styles does not mean that they aren't in the same category.

Anyway, my point was just that the top right corner isn't always a bad place to be in. People can teach in different ways. Some are arrogant and demanding and some offer patient guidance. Still. . . same corner.

    yeah I agree notta

see this is what I want, I want people to bat the ideas around and refine stuff with me. This is good.

yeah murkrow, I can go with that 'at best' TR description, though it needs fleshing out a bit - well they all do since they currently don't yet exist except in intention lol

So does that mean it could be like the Enneagram, where once you find your place on the graph you've gotta be aware that you're as capable of the 'at worst' behaviour as you are of the best/ideal sort? Cos that'd be cool!

edit - having just read another quality post by Liquid Laser, I'm thinking he's top left, close to vertical axis. I reckon he could do the intellectual thing if he wanted to and has the right educational background to be able to, but I think he just chooses to be a bit more sorta, well, a bit less bookish if you know what I mean? Like, he seems to deliver the results of his education in 'everyman' language, which is pretty much what I do too...
