Worthy of mention, read it a while back:

Chocolate Wars: From Cadbury to Kraft: 200 years of Sweet Success and Bitter Rivalry, Deborah Cadbury

such a wonderful way to learn the history of modern business.
easily digestible and great to share even with teenagers.

i really, really enjoyed this book <3

Currently reading Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility and Mansfield Park simultaneously. Last book I read before this was Pride & Prejudice. I'm kind of in love with Jane right now (yes, we're on first name terms right now).

The Master and Margarita - Mikhail Bulgakov
Rituals - Cees Nooteboom. <--- I have loved everything I've ever read written by this man. Even when I don't love it (??!) and what he is writing about is distasteful or annoying to me. I have no idea why his writing gets in the way it does.
    Ubik - Philip K. Dick

Currently my bedtime reading is Darwin's Voyage of the Beagle *kind of dipping into a few other books I've got scattered around as well, mostly psychology related, as the mood takes me, but that's the one I'm actually reading from beginning to end in the conventional manner!*

    Last read:

Paradise Lost - John Milton (re-read)
A book of Tolstoy novellas comprising "The Cossacks", "Family Happiness" and "The death of Ivan Ilyich"

It's about time I got on to the serious stuff soon. Too much light holiday reading recently I think
