    The other side of the story. *nods* fair enough. I don't see it as hiding something, so much as for me I don't really need to know. Hampers clear thinking once I've gotten in my mind that you're this or that.

    It was only after I started frequenting online forums that I discovered people like to hide information about themselves, basic foundational information that people who can see you use every day, like your gender, approximate age and so on.
    It has never occurred to me to desire to hide anything, except for information that a stalker could use to find me.
