Hmm ... there appears to be a pattern here.

I live by myself with my dog a lonely life for an extrovert! (and you wonder why I'm on here so much? )

I used to live with an ENFJ and ISFJ who I really really didn't get along with and an ENTP and ISTP who I did get along with

Before that I lived with an ENTJ and ESTJ, I got along with both in the beginning and only the ESTJ in the end

And for the few years before that I lived with the ENTJ, but within close proxemity to the rest of my friends!

    1998-present - INFJ spouse

    1997-1998 - alone

1997 - crazy borderline INTP, barely made it 4 months

    1995-1996 - alone

1994-1995 - ESTP landlord, ISXJ tennant

1992-1994 - big churchy house with ENFP, ISFP, ENTJ and ENFJ

1991-1992 - UK, married couple (ENFP, ISFP) and the annoying younger brother (ESFP)

1990 - several bedsits in/around London, not long enough to type housemates; 2 religious orgs in Switzerland; too much a revolving door to type anyone

1989-1990 - married couple with marital problems; dunno types

1989 - ENFP actress; I had to leave because her cats gave me asthma

1986-1989 - alone, sadly I didn't do well alone the first time

1985-1986 - triplex off-campus; ESTJ (still best friends), ENFP, ISFJ, ISTJ

1982-1985 - various dorm-mates and one semester alone as an RA

1963-1982 - family: mom (ESFP), dad (ISTP), older brother (ISTP), younger brother (ISTJ), stepmother (ESFJ)

Wow - looking at it this way, I've lived with a hell of alot of people. I don't miss the nomadic transience of my 20s-early 30s at all. I definitely prefer being in one place with one person who 'gets' me.

Right now, I live with my INTP brother.

Before that, I lived by myself for four years.

Before that, I lived with an EnTJ friend for two years.

Before that, at home for a bit with my ISTJ mother and INTJ father.

Before that, with an INFP and flaky EsFP (on the job housing).

Before that, with ENTJ, IxTJ, and eSxJ friends (in college).

Before that, with 60+ girls, probably primarily SP's and SJ's, in an um social organization, um - first roommate was most likely an ESTP, and the second one was ESFJ (in college)

Before that, with ENTJ and IxTJ friends (in college)

Before that, with an ISTJ roommate (assigned to me in my first yr in the college dorms).

    Before that, at home!!

I am an INTJ, and I haven't the first clue how to type anyone else. But I live alone, so it doesn't matter

Until six months ago though, I lived with a platonic female roommate for ten years. We got along swimmingly with the exception of her manic OCD idea of what "clean" meant.
