    Did you mean "revealing"?

    Just in case you did, it's because I had a disagreement with someone of my type recently that was so unnerving I wanted to avoid conspicuously identifying myself as being in the same group with them for a while.

    I find that it can occasionally reduce the coherence of one's contributed ideas.

    On a simple level, published type can provide an observer bias/contextual distraction for one's audience; intellectual white noise that interferes with honest scrutiny.

    That's kind of what I assumed is the case for most. Wasn't/not sure though.

    I am fine with this, but I really hate when people intentionally write something silly in the space provided, like "NERD" "SEXY" "GOD" or something similar.

    When I have that happen, I don't want to stop indentifying with the INFP archetype, just figure we are two very different people within the same archetype.
