I find it annoying not to know people's types tho'.
But as somebody mentioned earlier in this thread... Something about it being irritating when pepople changed their type. There might be many reasons for that. Me - I got lots of different results and so on, so in the beginning over at INTP central, I was very, very unsure about my type. First ENFJ(unhappy), ENTJ(even more unhappy), then INTP (very much depressed), ENFP (then recovering from said depression). Now that i'm fine a couple of years later, I am an ESTP. And it all adds up.
When people change their type in that little box, it's more often than not to be cool or anything. It's because somebody truly doesn't know yet, whatever the reasons might be.
Mightier than the tread of marching armies is the power of an idea whose time has come
On a simple level, published type can provide an observer bias/contextual distraction for one's audience; intellectual white noise that interferes with honest scrutiny.
Plus, why put your type there when you can use it for much more interesting things?
I had my type up for a while, and anybody who pays attention to my posts will see me mention my type quite often. This is an MBTI site, and I'm here to discuss MBTI, so of course I often discuss things in the context of my type, and I often participate in threads specifically directed at my type.
For now, "woah" is more interesting.
They're running just like you
For you, and I, wooo
So people, people, need some good ol' love
